Weetwood Hall Wedding Photography.  We had a wonderful day at Weetwood Hall with Jeoff & Kay. We captured some amazing wedding photography for their wedding day. A few of their wedding images in the gallery show some classical photographs. Which show the wonderful architecture both inside and out. But also some images show the lighter side of their wedding day. Weetwood Hall Wedding Photography

It is quite certain that an ancient farm existed on this site in the “Wappentake of Skyrack” in the 16th Century. To the rear of the Manor House in the oldest part there are stone mullioned windows dating from around 1540. The estate was owned by the Foxcroft family for at least 100 years from the latter half of the 16t Century. Once mistakenly know  as Weetwood.  A history of Leeds refers to Weetwood was rebuilt by Daniel Foxcroft Esq. in 1625 as dated above the porch of the original entrance. Decorative plasterwork as seen on the ceilings in the Manor House came to England through Henry VIII. Daniel Foxcroft late added the designs of the Tudor Rose.  Lion of England and the thistle amongst others in the early part of the 17th Century.  Look up after entering via the original porch-way a framed lion’s head can be seen in the ceiling. Weetwood Hall Wedding Photography
